Private Dining Room at Burnt Ends

Burnt Ends’ Private Dining Room is a secluded fourteen-seat space where fire, craft and elemental materials set the tone. Petrified wood, Shou Sugi Ban timber and a sculptural black dining table sit beneath an installation of black lava stones, creating an intimate setting for celebrations, long conversations and shared moments around the table.

Burnt Ends offers a Private Dining Room that elevates the experience beyond the main restaurant. Entered through a heavy teak door with a polished skull handle, the fourteen-seat room is intentionally secluded, creating a sense of arrival and quiet separation.

The space is defined by petrified wood walls, Shou Sugi Ban timber and a striking six-metre dining table carved from black petrified wood. These materials establish a feeling of permanence and restrained intensity. Suspended above the table, an installation of five thousand black lava stones introduces a dramatic yet measured presence, echoing the elemental nature of fire, earth and craft that defines Burnt Ends.

Within this setting, guests enjoy exclusive large-format dishes, experimental creations and off-menu items prepared by a dedicated chef team in the adjoining live kitchen. Menus are shaped around each group, allowing for a more personal and immersive interpretation of the Burnt Ends philosophy.

Designed for celebrations, intimate gatherings and meaningful occasions, the private dining room offers a deeper and more focused way to experience Burnt Ends, where the environment, the food and the people around the table come together with intention.
